日本の夏を彩る真っ白な朝顔（あさがお）の写真素材です。全然知らなかったんですが、アサガオは日本で古くから親しまれている日本由来の植物だと思っていたんですが、奈良時代に中国から渡来し、薬草として用いられたのが始まりなんだそうです。江戸時代に沢山品種改良されて楽しまれていたのは知ってたんですけどね。奥が深いです。かなり前にとった写真ですが、撮影場所は広島市植物公園です。
